(0) I advise you to disable float alignment (under “Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Formatting > Enable float alignment > No”) and not to use image positioning options while uploading images, otherwise layout problems may occur. Use class=”left”, class=”right” or class=”centered” instead for positioning images with float alignment.

(2) For replacing the default Flickr badge with your own, go to Flickr Badge Creator, then create a badge from your pictures (do not waste your time with styling). After creating the badge code, only copy the line which starts with , then replace the default badge code on the template with the one you have copied.

(3) Google Sitesearch is a free tool offered by Google, and its nothing to do with AdSense for Search. It can only produce results for the pages indexed by Google, and may not work if your blog haven’t got any.

(4) This template has been tested with Internet Explorer 6, Opera 9, Safari 1.3, Firefox 1.5.x, and although layout seems okay with all of these browsers I suggest you to use Firefox for best performance. If you haven’t downloaded yet, why don’t you for safer and faster internet experience?

Comes with social bookmarking links neatly placed at the bottom of the post, take a look at the footer. The grass and the trees, a widget to hold your fliker pictures and recent posts and then another cool footer announcment section and a jump to the top link is provided as well.

To change the image in the header you have to search for "http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/8227/logoom3.png" and replace it with your image url.

Although these are very lightweight libraries available for creating effects like this templates has, these scripts can adversely effect your page loading times.

Google Gadgets for Linux package on an Ubuntu 8.04 LTS machine and we were really impressed with them. The installation will provide a client for both GTK and QT platforms or, in other words, both GNOME and KDE users can enjoy the Google Gadgets on their desktops.

Configure, compile and install Google Gadgets

Download Google Gadgets for Linux right now from Softpedia.

Extract the archive, open a terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) and execute the following commands, one by one:

sudo make install

That’s it! Now you can hit ALT+F2 and type ggl-gtk (for GNOME users) or ggl-qt (for KDE users) to start the Google Gadgets application. You will see a nice icon on the system tray area, right click on it to access the gadgets browser. Have fun and enjoy the finest Google gadgets on your Linux desktop!

Note: We’ve noticed that the GTK interface (ggl-gtk) of Google Gadgets will not load the gadgets. As a workaround, run the Qt interface (ggl-qt) first and let it load all the gadgets, close it and run the GTK interface again. It will load all the gadgets now.
